This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between US EPA and Create RE, Inc. (Respondent) of El Segundo, California, for Respondent's alleged violations of the federal Toxic Substances Control Act requirements 1) that a person who performs for compensation a renovation of target housing (constructed prior to 1978) and child-occupied facilities to provide a lead hazard information pamphlet to the owner and occupant before beginning the renovation, and 2) for EPA certification of individuals and firms engaged in lead-based paint activities, and work practice standards for renovation, repair, and painting activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities. Respondent agreed to pay a civil penalty of $5,135 and certified to EPA that it is now in compliance with the specified regulations.
