On September 11, 2019, EPA issued an administrative enforcement action against Marmon Utility LLC (Marmon) for alleged violations of EPCRA and EPCRA regulations that occurred at Marmon's electric cable manufacturing facility (known as the Kerite facility) in Seymour, Connecticut. EPA alleged that Marmon failed to timely submit and certify EPCRA Section 313 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reports for copper, zinc and lead processed at the Kerite facility during calendar year 2017.
