On September 5, 2019, EPA Region III filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order simultaneously commencing and concluding an administrative action proceeding against Cloverland Farms Dairy for alleged violations of Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) for failure to timely file a toxic chemical release report for nitric acid and nitrate compounds for calendar year 2017 at its Baltimore, MD facility. Per the terms of the CAFO, Respondent will pay a civil penalty in the amount of $37,408.
