EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to Western Utilities, Inc. Water System located in West Monroe, LA. The AO was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. ? 141.403 and ? 141.404. The AO requires Western Utilities, Inc. to address violations of the Groundwater Rule and complete the required public notice. Western Utilities, Inc. must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the issuance date of the Order.
