EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to Ryan's Family Grocery Water System located in Sorrento, LA. The AO was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. 141.403 and 141.404. The AO requires Ryans Family Grocery to address violations of the Groundwater Rule and complete the required public notice. Ryans Family Grocery must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the issuance date of the Order.
