Specifically, the company violated the RRP Rule's certification/training, disclosure, and work practices requirements. The Complaint seeks a penalty of $6,155 for the violations pertaining to a single-family home painting project performed in 2018 in South Portland, Maine.
10/24/19 Respondent chose to use the quick settlement provisions in 40 CFR 22.18 to pay the full penalty sought in the complaint and thereby resolve the matter without filing an answer. Following Respondent's submission of notice of payment to the Regional Hearing Clerk, the Regional Judicial Officer issued a Final Order resolving the matter.
