On October 3, 2019, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent (AOC) under its authority pursuant to the authority of Section 113(a)(1)(A) of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. 7413(a)(1)(A) to Raceland Raw Sugar, LLC - Raceland Factory (Raceland Raw Sugar) located in Raceland, LA. The AOC was issued in response to violation of LAC 33:III.919.B.1 of the Louisiana SIP by failing to report actual emissions in the annual emissions inventories for PM10 and PM2.5 for reporting year 2017 as to Boiler #5 at the Facility. The AOC requires Raceland Raw Sugar to report actual emissions in their annual emissions inventory for 2017.
