Region 1 issued a Clean Water Act Administrative Compliance Order to the Town of Lancaster, Massachusetts on November 13, 2019, requiring the Town to submit to EPA a complete and accurate notice of intent (NOI) required by the 2016 General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) in Massachusetts (2016 MS4 Permit). Stormwater discharges from the Town's MS4 is currently unauthorized because the Town failed to submit a complete NOI as required by the 2016 MS4 Permit.
