On December 10, 2019, EPA reached an expedited settlement agreement with Fed. Corp. of Dedham, Massachusetts for its noncompliance with the Oil Pollution Prevention regulations, promulgated under Section 311 of the Clean Water Act. Specifically, the company failed to have a SPCC plan in place at its facility. The company will pay a $3,000 penalty. The Oil Pollution Prevention regulatory program is a non-state delegated federal program.
