On January 8, 2020, EPA Region 10 settled with Sound Restaurant Supply, Inc. d/b/a/ Industrial Research Products, Inc. (Fife, Washington) for violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). During a September 14, 2017 inspection of the company?s pesticide-producing establishment, EPA found that Sound Restaurant Supply was distributing an unregistered antimicrobial called LT Sanitizer in violation of FIFRA Section 12(a)(1)(A). The company agreed to pay a civil penalty of $5,000.
