## Summary

On January 7, 2020, Region 1 filed a consent agreement and final order (CAFO) resolving TSCA violations at the Clean Harbors of Connecticut, Inc. facility located in Bristol, Connecticut. The company has agreed to pay a $58,338 penalty to resolve this matter and certifies that it is now operating in compliance with TSCA. The Region has coordinated with the State of Connecticut and Region 2 in this action.  The State is not authorized to enforce the PCB regulations but supports the action. Region 2 deferred to Region 1 for the enforcement action.
