On April 15, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement which both initiated and concluded an administrative action against DDM Imports, Inc. (DDM) for violations of Title II of the Clean Air Act. DDM imported an uncertified motor vehicle in January 3, 2020. DDM imports motor vehicles from Canada for sale in Washington State. The violation was identified by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers located at in Eastport, Idaho and referred to EPA requesting follow up. DDM paid a civil penalty of $2400 and submitted documentation that the vehicle was re-exported back to Canada.
