This case involves the mis-delivery by Penn Tank Lines, Inc. (PTL) of over 360,000 gallons (45 truck loads) of conventional gasoline to 10 Wawa retail outlets in areas in Pennsylvania requiring reformulated gasoline during June 2017.
In July of 2017 Wawa self-reported the violations to the EPA. EPA determined that Penn Tank Lines had caused the mis-deliveries.
As part of the agreement, PTL agreed to pay a civil penalty of $104,940 to the United States Treasury.
