On May 1, 2020 EPA Region 6 issued an AO under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309(a) of the Clean Water Act (the Act), 33 U.S.C.1318 and 1319(a) to Los Ojos State Fish Hatchery located in Sante Fe, NM. The AO was issued in response to DMR and effluent violations. The AO requires Los Ojos State Fish Hatchery to immediately comply and submit a written report detailing the specific actions taken to correct the violations cited and explain why such actions are anticipated to be sufficient to prevent recurrence of these violations within 90 days.
