On June 3, 2020 EPA Region 10 issued an Administrative Order on Consent under Section 113 of the Clean Air Act to J.K. Merrill & Sons, Inc., of Pocatello, Idaho to correct violations of 40 C.F.R. Part 63, Subpart ZZZZ at the companys Pocatello, Idaho, sand and gravel plant to ensure the companys diesel engines comply with emissions standards. Compliance with the Order will reduce emissions of hazardous air pollutants from the companys engines used to run the sand and gravel plants equipment.
