On November 13, Region 3 issued a NORA to Degesch America, Inc. for importing a misbranded pesticide through the port of Norfolk-Newport News, VA. The pesticide label for Fumitoxin Pellets , which is a restricted use pesticide due to high acute inhalation toxicity of phosphine gas, was missing directions for use necessary to adequately protect health and the environment. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. (H. Raguza 215-814-2170)
