On May 5, 2020, EPA filed an Expedited Consent Agreements and accompanying Final Orders for violation of Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) requirements. Keymar Fertilizer, Inc. failed to submit their Annual Pesticide Production reports by the annual March 1st due date for their pesticide-production facility located in Maryland. As a result, they were assessed a penalty of $1,000. EPA-registered pesticide-producing establishments are required to submit their production reports annually to the Agency, listing the names and types of pesticides they produce, the amounts produced and distributed in the previous year, and the amount they expect to produce in the coming year.
