On February 6, 2020, EPA issued a Clean Water Act administrative compliance order to Barden's Boat Yard, Inc. of Marion, Massachusetts for violations of the 2015 NPDES Stormwater Multi-Sector General Permit for Industrial Activities (MSGP). An EPA inspection found that the company had failed to conduct certain monitoring and to prepare records required by the MSGP and had discharged process wastewater to the stormwater system, an unauthorized discharge under the MSGP.
