Crown Bay Cargo Terminal is a maritime shipping facility covering approx 6 acres, and operated by the Respondent in St. Thomas, USVI. The Facility was inspected by EPA on December 5-6, 2019, and found to be an industrial operation that is regulated for storm water discharges. The Inspection revealed the facility discharges storm water associated with an industrial activity, and has failed to secure the appropriate NPDES permit to operate while discharging pollutants in a water of the US. EPA has taken enforcement action against the Operator by issuing ACO, CWA-02-2020-3102 on May 7, 2020, requiring the Respondent to come into full compliance with applicable regulations of the CWA.
