Respondent is a renovation firm located in Yonkers, NY. Based on the information provided by Respondent, EPA determined that Respondent had performed renovations subject to the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA further determined that on four occasions, Respondent had: (1) failed to retain records, as required by 40 C.F.R. 745.86; and, (2) failed to assign a certified renovator, as required by 40 C.F.R. 745.89(d). Respondent agrees to pay a penalty of $14,280 to address the violations previously mentioned.
