On or about June 9, 2016, the wells were transferred to the Respondent. A June 14, 2016, EPA letter notified Respondent that the wells did not have mechanical integrity. On July 24, 2018, Respondent was again notified by EPA letter that the wells were overdue for mechanical integrity tests (MITs). A March 22, 2019, EPA Notice of Violation informed the Respondent of failure to respond to the overdue MIT violations for each of the wells. The Respondent was required to make a written declaration as to future intentions for each of the wells. 9.23.2020: Final Order issued.
