On August 18, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by LifeClean International through the port of Washington DC Dulles. The product was called ?LifeClean? and the labeling stated it could be use to kill viruses and bacteria on surfaces, including the novel coronavirus, which makes this product a pesticide requiring registration under FIFRA. This product was not registered, and it is a violation to sell or distribute an unregistered pesticide. The recipient of this product has confirmed that they have destroyed the product.
