Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Construction General Permit by the Fairbourne Development LLC (?Owner?), located in Meridian, Idaho. Respondent, owner and operator of the Fairbourne Subdivision construction project site, failed to install and maintain Best Management Practices (BMPs), failed to maintain a complete Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and site map, failed to clean-up trackout, and failed to ensure the proper containment and/or disposal of construction debris. These violations increase the potential for pollutants to enter Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS). The environmental benefit of this action is a reduction in sediment discharge to WOTUS by 10,724 pounds. The Respondent agree to pay a penalty of $6,880.
