On September 14, 2020 EPA Region 6 issued an AO under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309(a) of the Clean Water Act (the Act), 33 U.S.C. 1318 and 1319(a) to Seven Springs State Fish Hatchery located in Jemez Springs, NM. The AO was issued in response to effluent violations. The AO requires Seven Springs State Fish Hatchery to immediately comply and submit a written report detailing the specific actions taken to correct the violations cited and explain why such actions are anticipated to be sufficient to prevent recurrence of these violations within 60 days.
