On May 26, 2020, Region 1 issued an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent to Custom Coatings, Inc., operator of a laminating coating facility located in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. This facility was previously owned by Dartex Coating, Inc. Custom Coatings purchased the facility on May 19, 2020. This Order requires Custom Coatings to install and operate the North Smithfield facility with a new thermal oxidizer.
