The Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) for ChemDesign Products Inc. (ChemDesign), Marinette, Wisconsin resolves violations regarding the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Chemical Manufacturing Area Sources, 40 C.F.R. Part 63, Subpart VVVVVV (NESHAP VVVVVV).
Specifically, ChemDesign failed to comply with applicable leak detection monitoring requirements, leak repair requirements, and recordkeeping and reporting requirements and also failed to submit a Notification of Compliance Status, all in violation of NESHAP VVVVVV.
This CAFO requires ChemDesign to pay a penalty of $50,000 and resolves the Finding of Violation issued to ChemDesign on August 30, 2019.
