An offsite investigation was begun by checking different program databases and found the Future Pipe Industries, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, had failed to timely report releases of styrene and amounts of styrene waste managed for calendar years2018 and 2019.
The facility was contact about the violation and a settlement penalty was agreed to. A CAFO was issued on 9/29/2020 in the amount of $36,000 for the violations.
