The Defendant failed to comply with the RRP requirements in renovating apartments at 76 Grove Street, Brooklyn, NY in failing to: (1) obtain an initial firm RRP certification from EPA; (2) contain waste from renovation activities to prevent releases of dust and debris before the waste is removed from the work area for storage or disposed; (3) ensure that a certified renovator was assigned to each renovation performed by the Defendant and that person discharged all of the certified renovator?s responsibilities; (4) ensure that all employees the Defendant assigned to each renovation were properly certified or had received on-the-job training; and, (5) provided the owner of the building with the EPA-approved lead hazard information pamphlet.
