On September 25, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 9, filed a CAFO which settled an administrative penalty action against Boise Cascade Company. For the period January 2015 to December 2019, Boise Cascade hired or dispatched to California at least 75 third-party trucks without verifying compliance with CARB?s Truck and Bus rule in violation of section 2025(x)(2).
