Respondent is a painting subcontractor located in Brooklyn, New York. Based on information obtained from a New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene referral and an Information Request Letter response, EPA determined the Respondent violated the RRP Rule in the course of renovations conducted in target housing in Brooklyn, New York, in March of 2016. Three counts are cited against the Respondent in conclusion to EPA's investigation. Respondent will pay a total penalty of $7,000 and must adhere to an approved compliance plan which includes quarterly compliance reports for the duration of one year.
