Rice Lake Weighing Systems attempted to import pesticide devices at the Minneapolis - St. Paul port of entry. The shipment included two pesticide devices which were both found to be misbranded under FIFRA Section 12(a)(1)(F). Rice Lake Weighing Systems, through their sister company, Intruder Inc., advised that the violative devices will be destroyed.
EPA did not issue a penalty as the importer of record elected to destroy the shipment containing the misbranded devices.
