On October 20, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by UPS Supply Chain Solutions through the UPS Hub at the Port of Philadelphia. The shipment contained a surface disinfectant that was not registered with the EPA. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has the option to export the product or destroy it.
