Respondent conducted a renovation at target housing in Spencerport, New York, in July of 2019. The firm failed to obtain written acknowledgement that the owner received pre-renovation education via the EPA approved lead-hazard pamphlet, Renovate Right , which is a violation of the Lead-based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule. Respondent was offered an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) under the Lead-based Paint ESA Policy. Respondent agreed to the ESA, paid $200, and submitted a written response on how they will amend business practices to better document compliance with the EPA regulations regarding pre-renovation education.
