On October 22, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by Huntsman International, LLC through the port of Philadelphia International Airport. The shipment contained a product called ?Phone Sanitizer & Screen Cleaner? which was not registered. The importer confirmed it had been sent to them as part of an unrequested gift. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has the option to export the product or destroy it.
