On December 22, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by J.J. Boll Associates through the portCBP?s Port of Philadelphia, PA. The shipment contained an unregistered biocide called CIDOX 1000. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has the option to export the product or destroy it.
