On February 5, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order (SSURO) under its authority pursuant to Section 13(a) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), 7 U.S.C. ? 136k(a) to DrillChem Drilling Solutions LLC, located in The Woodlands, Texas. The SSURO was issued in response to a violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. ? 136j(a)(1)(A), for selling or distributing an unregistered pesticide product. DrillChem must immediately cease the sale, use, or removal of the product, except in accordance with the provisions of the SSURO, or until the product is in compliance with FIFRA.
