On February 18, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to J J and V Inc. for violations of TSCA and the Lead Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule. J J and V leased 8 target housing units without providing the required lead hazard information to the lessees of the properties. The CAFO requires that J J and V comply with the RRP and TSCA and pay a civil penalty of $12,443 within 30 days of the filing date of the CAFO.
