On February 25, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to FIFRA to Puralize Cleaning Products, LLC, and DrillChem Drilling Solutions, LLC located in The Woodlands, TX. The CAFO was issued in response to violations of: Distribution of an unregistered pesticide, Section 3 of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. ? 136a, pursuant to the regulation at 40 C.F.R. ? 152.15. The CAFO requires DrillChem Drilling Solutions, LLC to consent to the issuance of this Consent Agreement and Final Order and consent for the purposes of settlement to the payment of the civil penalty of $33,904. DrillChem Drilling Solutions, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 by March 25, 2021.
