EPA Region 5 and Maverick Molding, Co., (Maverick), entered into a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Section 3008(a) Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) resolving violations relating to failure to provide notification of hazardous waste activity and failure to file two biennial reports. The CAFO requires Maverick to pay a civil penalty of $22,942 and rectify the alleged violations within 30 days. Maverick designs and manufactures specialty products that can withstand temperatures of up to 700?F for the commercial and military aerospace industries, power generation platforms and other industrial applications.
