On March 2, 2021, EPA informed IMG that based on EPA's records review, for the periods of 2018 and 2019, IMG generated hazardous waste in quantities that exceeded the threshold amount of 1,000 kilograms of hazardous waste per month. Thus, EPA identified the following violation: failure to file annual reports in violation of 35 Ill. Adm. Code Part 722.144. EPA offered and IMG agreed to resolve the violation through a streamlined CAFO settlement process.
