On May 18, 2021, EPA Region 10 settled with Hollingbery and Son, Inc. for violations of EPCRA 312
for failing to report storage of an extremely hazardous substance at their ammonia refrigeration ? cold
storage facility in Yakima, Washington. EPCRA 312 annual Tier II reporting supports emergency
planning efforts at the state and local levels and provides the public and local governments with
information concerning potential chemical hazards present in their
communities. Hollingbery and Son, Inc. agreed to pay a penalty of $21,600.
