On May 12, 2021 EPA Region 6 issued an AO under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309(a) of the Clean Water Act (the Act), 33 U.S.C.1318 and 1319(a) to Glorieta Camps located in Glorieta, NM. The AO was issued in response to effluent violations of specific conductance, E. Coli, BOD-5 percent (%) removal, and TSS % removal. The AO requires Glorieta Camps to immediately comply and submit a written report detailing the specific actions taken to correct the violations cited and explain why such actions are anticipated to be sufficient to prevent recurrence of these violations within 30 days.
