On June 9, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.) to Walter Oil & Gas Corporation located in the Gulf of Mexico. The AO was issued in response to DMR effluent violations. Walter Oil & Gas Corporation must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this AO.
