On 06/25/2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 301 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Anadarko Petroleum Corporation located in Houston, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of: Section 301 of the CWA and its implementing permit. The AO requires Anadarko to Identify the causes of the violations and develop a plan to maintain compliance. Anadarko must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of the effective date of the AO.
