EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) to Everett Square Inc., d/b/a Shady Oaks Estates (Respondent). EPA Region 6 issued the AO under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Respondent at its water system in Conroe, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for gross alpha particles. The AO requires Respondent to immediately comply with the MCL, or if the system is unable to immediately achieve compliance, the Respondent must submit a compliance plan within ninety days of receipt of the order.
