On June 5, 2019, the US EPA conducted an on-site inspection at Respondent's facility to determine compliance with Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) chemical reporting requirements. Several violations were identified for non-reporting and inaccurate reporting. The facility has since submitted/corrected their associated reporting. A penalty of $164,100 was originally proposed, however the facility provided evidence that some of the chemical activities were unregulated materials pass throughs, therefore the penalty was reduced accordingly, and the final penalty became $62,300.
