On 7/28/2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (Docket No. SDWA 06-2021-1140) for compliance under its authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Petromerica Operating, LLC, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The AO was issued because the company failed to complete corrective actions and (40 C.F.R. 147.2903(b), 147.2905, and 147.2920) maintained injection wells in a manner that could allow fluid movement into a USDW. Petromerica Operating, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days after the effective date of a Final Order.
