On August 25, 2021, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Reier
Construction L.L.C. located in University Place, Washington, for violations of TSCAs Lead-Based
Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Lakewood, Washington. EPA Region
10 alleged Reier Construction L.L.C. failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing
renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to
pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
