On July 27th 2021, Region 5 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order with GE Aviation. In it Region 5 alleges that GE Aviation failed to notify as a large quantity generator of hazardous waste, GE Aviation further failed to properly file biennial reports of its hazardous waste generation activities. GE Aviation will pay a fine of $11,472.
