On September 10, 2021, Region 10 entered into a Compliance Order on Consent with Smith Frozen Foods, Inc., an anhydrous ammonia refrigeration facility in Weston, Oregon. The Compliance Order on Consent requires Smith Frozen Foods to take steps and submit documentation to demonstrate that it has come into compliance with the Risk Management Program requirements of Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act and 40 C.F.R. Part 68.
